Art should be provided in a file created in an application that produces PostScript output. Programs (applications) include Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, QuarkXpress, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Pagemaker, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, and Adobe Acrobat Press Quality files.
Digital formats that are NOT appropriate for high-resolution output include files from word processing programs, such as Microsoft Word, combination "works" programs, home-user publishing programs, and presentation programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint.

When providing artwork to Tension, make sure that:
- File is accompanied by all linked objects and images (TIFs, EPS files, etc.). These support files should all be editable.
- Scans and image files should be 300 dpi and used within a close range of actual size.
- Fonts should be supplied. Please check your licensing agreements before sending fonts with a job to make sure they are properly licensed. Customer fonts are not retained on our hard drives after a job is completed.
- Laser or inkjet prints of artwork should be supplied with the file (or faxed/mailed after transmission). Specify colors and color breaks on the printouts as needed.
- Emailed art and accompanying files should be archived into a single folder and compressed via Stuffit, Zip-It or similar applications. Laser/inkjet proofs should be faxed or mailed after the files are sent.
For more information on supplying art files to Tension, contact your Tension Account Executive.
